Would Baytril Suspension hurt my piggy?

My guinea pig is sick. He's been bloated for a few days, so he's on reglan, metacam, and cisapride. The vet also gave him some kind of medicine to relieve the bloat, even though it didn't really help much. I think it was called gas x or something like that. Anyway, now the vet has said that he should be getting better, but he's not, so there's probably a secondary problem going on. He's gotten blood work, but we won't have the results until tomorrow morning, and by then I think it will be too late ='(. We have some old Baytril Suspension. Would that hurt him if I gave it to him just to see if it does anything?
