Knee Injury looking for some advice?

Does anyone know how Marrow Edema and degeneration of the Medial Meniscus within the posterior horn is treated? Will this heal on its own? What limitations do I need to set for myself? I am waiting on an appointment with a Orthopedic Dr. but not before I leave town to go on vacation. I need to see what I should do.
