Question about my daughters knees?

Did you get a second opinion before this doctor hacked in to your still growing daughters knee? I was also diagnosed with all that you mentioned when i was about the same age. I used knee braces and physical therapy for years on and off and limited certain activities. Im now 43 and just had both knees repaired [removed tears] and I am so glad that I had waited. If I were you I would take her to a pediatric orthopedic specialist and discuss her now condition with him. FYI, unless your doc told you prior to the surgery, cartilage does not repair well when they try to staple it back together...results are very hit and miss. Hope your daughter finds some relief!!
