Should a younger sibling get the older siblings room when they move off to college?

I have the smaller room in my house and my sister has a way bigger room that also has a tv and a much bigger closet. Since she's moving to college it's only fair that I should be allowed to move into her room (her college is also very far away from where we live and she wouldn't be able to come back for all the holidays) since I'll be at home way more then she will be. But my parents think is up to my sister, who said no to me moving in. Do you think I should be allowed to move in or no?
