How long after orthoscopic meniscus surgery does the swelling go down?

I had orthoscopic surgery to remove 30% of my meniscus 2 weeks ago. It is still swollen. How long after surgery should it remain swollen. At what point should I be contacting my doctor regarding the swelling?
