I Need Quick Advice! Small Simple Guy Drama That I Don't Exactly Know What To Do!?

Okay, so my family is like a broken family. we pretty much hate each other. Over the last year i became really good friends with this guy Chris. He's like... no... he IS my best friend. So we agreed that for now on we'd think of each other as siblings because he has a bro but wish he had a sister adn i hav a sister that i wish was a dude;P haha. and so for the whole year we've been really close. last year, before we were close, we liked each other but we are both over those feelings... well.. atleast he is... i like him again. and so i told him. he was fine with it,doesn't rly care as long as it doesn't change our relationship. and so nothing has changed except for my thoughts about him... one time we were playing the question game(back and forth and ask random question because we were bored) and i asked him what he would do if i kissed him, he said "itd be rude to pull away so nothing. id probably let it happen". so ever since ive been thinking, "should i kiss him or no" i don't really know what to do because ive been wanting to kiss him ever since last year, and it wouldn't change our relationship much at all, but itd be a little awkward after the kiss... Should I?!? Please give me GOOD advice. even if its just 1 word!:\
